Kim Jaejoong-produced VAYONN spreads youth energy with debut EP 'Youth Today'

Male group VAYONN, planned by producer Kim Jaejoong, has officially debuted by releasing their debut EP 'Youth Today'. VAYONN is a six-member boy group consisting of Masato, Sen, Sunjiayang, Feng Jinwei, Teru, and Mano. The group is primarily composed of members who gained recognition through Mnet's 'Boyz2 Planet'. Notably, singer and actor Kim Jaejoong participated in the production, drawing significant attention even before their debut. At a showcase held at NOL Theater in Hapjeong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, they performed their debut title track 'MUAH!' and the album track 'Watta Day'.

During the showcase, members shared their excitement about debuting and revealed Kim Jaejoong's advice. Mano expressed his respect, stating, 'PD Kim Jaejoong was once an idol and is still active today, so he always talks to us about etiquette. He mentioned that these things can be opportunities for growth, so I keep them in mind.' Sen introduced the album as one that asks, 'How is today's youth?' much like asking, 'How is the weather today?', emphasizing how various aspects of youth are expressed through weather metaphors.

The title track 'MUAH!' is a high-teen dance pop song featuring refreshing synth sounds and upbeat drums, capturing the signal of love and the flutter of youth. Masato vowed, 'I will perform with emotion so it feels cool and is imprinted in your memories.' The members also expressed their ambition to become a group that immediately brings 'youth' to mind when people think of VAYONN. Meanwhile, VAYONN's first EP 'Youth Today' was released on the 6th at 6 PM via various music sites.
