Oh My Girl Full-Group Comeback Postponed to First Half of Next Year

Oh My Girl's full-group activities have been postponed from the first half of this year to the first half of next year. WM Entertainment announced on the 22nd via their official account, 'We sincerely apologize for not conveying enough information to our fans regarding the group activities and performances previously announced through media.' They further explained, 'All six members share the same intention to continue together under the name Oh My Girl.' However, due to the extended process of collecting and selecting high-quality music during album production, they determined it would be difficult to proceed with the originally planned schedule.

The agency stated, 'Currently, the members are preparing to present a new album as Oh My Girl,' adding, 'They are putting their heart and soul into aiming for a release in the first half of next year.' They also noted that solo album activities for the members are scheduled for the second half of this year. Oh My Girl debuted in 2015. JinE left the team in 2017 for health reasons, and Jiho departed in 2022 after her exclusive contract ended, making the group a six-member unit. Last year, Hyojung, Mimi, Seunghee, and Yubin renewed their contracts with WM Entertainment, while YooA joined People Entertainment and Arin joined ATRP. Despite this, the full-group activities will continue with all six members.

WM Entertainment emphasized in their official statement, 'Oh My Girl members value their meetings with fans more than anyone else and are striving to show their proudest and brightest side.' Additionally, to ensure no inconvenience to fans regarding rights and benefits due to the album release delay, they announced the extension of the 'OH MY GIRL GLOBAL OFFICIAL FANCLUB Miracle 6th MEMBERSHIP' activity period until March 18, 2027. Specific details regarding the membership extension will be announced separately.
