The new album, released at 6 p.m. on the 29th across major streaming platforms, includes five new tracks centered on the title song toàn관람가: 발아, 카멜레온, Porch Light (Feat. 남제현), 구구절절, and more. In addition, the mini albums 와장창 (featuring Shin Gwang-il, who was serving in the military) and 선의 are included in a Childish version, bringing the total to 15 tracks. Shin Yechan recalled that performing in front of fans was the most special moment, while Shin Gwang-il vowed to showcase an even more flawless drum performance after his return. Their candid remarks reveal Lucy’s resolve for a strong full-lineup comeback.
The core of this album lies in the journey to reclaim childhood. As the title suggests, Childish carries a message of reviving pure emotions suspended between childlike wonder and adult reality. A warm nod to the fan fandom “Waalwai” is also included. The group emphasizes their readiness to move and enjoy music with fans, and news of an exclusive KSPO DOME concert follows.
Additionally, Lucy teases a journey toward “LUCY ISLAND” with teaser content, presenting objects that invite reflection on their career since debut. The 9th CONCERT “ISLAND” will be held on May 16–17 at KSPO DOME in Seoul’s Olympic Park, marking Lucy’s first time performing at KSPO DOME as a full lineup. Choi Sangyeop called performing on that stage a dream and an honor, while Jo Won-sang expressed excitement and gratitude. Gwang-il said he aims to solidify the group’s presence through activities after the comeback.
With a stylish musicality and well-made compositions, Childish solidifies Lucy’s distinctive color around the title track toàn관람가, delivering a calm yet energetic identity. The music visuals expand the title track’s message visually, blending animation with real-life scenes. Musically, Jo Won-sang contributed as lyricist, composer, and arranger, highlighting Lucy’s identity, with the violin’s iconic melodies running throughout the tracks.
As Lucy returns in full, they look forward to meeting fans at upcoming concerts. The 9th solo concert “ISLAND” is expected to showcase their growth and future direction in one setting. All eyes are on how this release will expand a world where childhood remains alive in adulthood. The adventure with the fan club “Waalwai” will continue to establish Lucy as a leading force in Korea’s K-band market.
