TOMORROW X TOGETHER to Return with ‘PERFECT STORM’ on November 16, Building Anticipation with World Tour
October 6, 2026
TOMORROW X TOGETHER (TXT) will release their ninth mini album, ‘PERFECT STORM,’ on November 16. The comeback arrives roughly seven months after their eighth mini album, ‘7TH YEAR: When the Wind Paused in the Thorn Bush,’ released in April. Just before the release, the group will meet fans in Seoul as they launch their fifth world tour.
The comeback teaser featured the message, “We need something different from anything we've done before.” With TXT embracing change and fresh approaches on each album, anticipation is growing over how they will bring that message to life through music and performances. Sports Dong-A reported that specific details of the ninth mini album remain under wraps, highlighting what the members will share next after beginning to tell their own stories on the previous release.
TXT have built their distinctive identity by connecting their albums’ narratives, music and visuals. Through songs and concepts exploring the confusion and uncertainty of growing up, they have invited listeners to follow a story as they experience the music. Fans are eager to see how the new album will develop that storytelling.
On their eighth mini album, all five members stepped forward as narrators. Moving beyond the story of a fictional boy, they expressed emotions from their seven years since debut. Their candid accounts of anxiety, emptiness and other experiences, paired with varied sounds, broadened their musical expression. Sports Dong-A described it as their first group album following their contract renewals and a reflection on their time together.
The previous album’s achievements also fuel anticipation for the comeback. According to Sports Seoul, MHN and other outlets, the eighth mini album reached No. 3 on the Billboard 200. Its title track, ‘Stick With You,’ earned five wins on South Korean music shows. Attention now turns to the follow-up to an album that placed the members’ feelings front and center.
The connection between the album and tour titles is also drawing interest. Following the reference to “wind” in the previous album’s title, the new release introduces a “STORM,” while the fifth world tour is titled ‘STEAL THE WIND.’ In a report by @star1, an agency representative explained that the tour title “expresses their determination to take the lead and move forward in their own way, whatever the circumstances.” The shared wind imagery is raising curiosity about where the new story will go.
TXT will open ‘TOMORROW X TOGETHER WORLD TOUR ‘STEAL THE WIND’’ with three shows at Seoul’s KSPO DOME from November 13 to 15. ‘PERFECT STORM’ will arrive the following day, November 16. With the concerts and album release coming back to back, fans are looking forward to the five members’ next chapter in music and storytelling.
