NEXZ Makes Waves at Latin American Festivals, Set to Embark on First Asia Tour in October
September 15, 2026
The group NEXZ is expanding its horizons after making its Latin American debut with appearances at major music festivals and strong results on local charts. After performing at the first STRAYCITY Music Festival in Bogotá, Colombia, on the 9th (local time), NEXZ took the opening stage at Rock in Rio in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, on the 11th.
Dressed in all-black styling in Bogotá, NEXZ won over local fans with an intense performance. In Brazil, the group raised its energy to match the scale of the large outdoor venue. The set began with the intro track “Beat-Boxer,” followed by rock versions of “O-RLY?,” “Simmer,” and “HARD.” Songs from their fourth mini album, released last month—“LOCO,” “APPETITE,” and “SAUCIN’”—were also included.
Fans sang along and danced to NEXZ’s songs throughout the performances. The members came down from the stage to interact more closely with fans and used local phrases they had studied for the festival schedule, further energizing the crowd. As their first Brazilian performance and first Latin American activities since debut, the shows highlighted NEXZ’s distinctive performance strengths and stage presence.
Their music achievements have continued as well. “SAUCIN’” topped YouTube’s daily charts in several Latin American regions, including Venezuela, Uruguay, Ecuador, and Costa Rica. Leader Tomoya also released a challenge for “TIC TIC (Feat. Pabllo Vittar),” a collaboration between Brazilian artist Pabllo Vittar and NMIXX, further connecting with local music fans.
NEXZ’s Latin American schedule continues with the second STRAYCITY performances in Buenos Aires, Argentina, on the 14th and 15th. The group will then embark on its first Asia tour, “NEXZ 1ST ASIA TOUR ‘SAUCIN’ THE WORLD.’”
The tour will kick off in Seoul on October 17 and 18 at Olympic Hall in Songpa-gu. An advance ticket sale for members of the NEX2Y fan club’s second generation will begin through NOL at 8 p.m. on the 15th. Fans are looking forward to seeing what NEXZ will deliver on its first Asia tour after demonstrating its potential on Latin American stages.
