RESCENE Returns with Fourth Mini Album ‘PULSE,’ Shares Growth and Goals at Showcase
November 3, 2026
RESCENE is back with its fourth mini album, “PULSE,” determined to repay the love sparked by its chart resurgence through music and performances—and grow into a group fans will cherish for years.
The group held a media showcase on November 3 at Blue Square’s Woori WON Banking Hall in Yongsan, Seoul. Members Woni, Liv, Minami, May and Zena performed the title track “With” and B-side “Inside Out,” sharing the stories behind the album. The release arrived at 6 p.m. that day.
The mini album follows renewed attention from the resurgence of “LOVE ATTACK” and the popularity of “Pretty Girl.” Liv said the members practiced with a shared determination to meet expectations, asking fans to look forward to their growth. Minami said they prepared with an exciting sense of nerves and promised to show new charms.
“PULSE,” meaning a heartbeat, captures the moment a song offered to someone returns as a voice that helps its singer rise again. It expresses the hope that dreams once held alone can become reality through connection, and that those bonds will endure onstage and in everyday life. Woni described it as an album announcing that RESCENE’s heart has begun beating strongly.
Continuing its practice of connecting music with scent, the group chose musk for this release. Minami said it evokes the warmth shared between RESCENE and those who support them. Like musk’s subtle, lingering fragrance, the music carries their wish to stay by one another’s side for a long time.
Title track “With” portrays the overwhelming moment of following a voice calling out to you and finally meeting someone you have long dreamed of. Its lyrical opening builds into a powerful chorus and striking hook. Zena highlighted choreography that requires all five members to move as one, encouraging viewers to watch for their collective synergy.
“Inside Out” began with Minami’s calligraphy. She had written a favorite four-character idiom, referring to a profusion of blooming flowers, as her goal for the year. Someone at the agency saw it and developed the idea into a song. Minami said she was happy and grateful that an expression she loves became a song title she could sing herself. The five-track album also includes “Finest Thing,” “MEME” and “Dragon.”
The members emphasized consistency as expectations grow. Zena said the attention brought positive pressure and motivation to practice. Woni said they focused on showing their identity, skills and music rather than numbers, while May expressed gratitude for being called the “nation’s girl group” and pledged to work hard to live up to it.
Chart news followed the release. According to Ilgan Sports, “With” reached No. 1 on Melon’s Hot 100 as of 7 p.m. on November 3. The members’ longer-term goal is lasting trust. Minami vowed to keep their original mindset and give her best, while May said she hopes the group will be loved for years. Woni and Liv also said they want to firmly establish RESCENE as a group listeners can always count on for good music.
