NEXZ transforms into a kitschy rule-breaker with second single Mmchk

Boy group NEXZ will make a comeback on the 27th with their second single album Mmchk and its title track of the same name. In recently released concept photos, the members revealed seven distinct, kitschy characters within an eccentric and lovable mood, leaving a strong impression. Tomoya, Yuu, Haru, Sogeon, Seita, Huey and Yuki used a cake on the table and various dining props to create a freewheeling, unruly party atmosphere, marking the new album title around mouths, cheeks, walls and floors and even turning sparks and scorch marks into hearts as striking visual elements. With this, NEXZ emphasized a 'rule breaker' image—“not fixed rules, but doing what I want”—making the tone of the new release Mmchk clear. Mmchk is introduced as a word that throws a pop of attention at the world's predictable conventions, and through this release NEXZ is expected to further imprint their bold energy and presence. It is also notable that the members participated in the lyrics of every track: Yuki, Huey and Tomoya contributed to the title track Mmchk, while leader Tomoya and the youngest member Yuki wrote the second track “HYPEMAN” on their own. Through these credits, NEXZ actively displays potential as a next-generation self-producing group. On the same day at 8 PM, they will hold the NEXZ COMEBACK SHOWCASE “Mmchk” to officially present their first stage to fans. The concept photos released that day gather each member’s individuality and the team’s free energy, foreshadowing the kitschy rule-breaker charm NEXZ will present, and expectations for the new stage are mounting.
