July 8, 2026
Group Hearts2Hearts is expanding its global reach by confirming its official debut in Japan. SM Entertainment announced on the 7th that Hearts2Hearts will release their first Japanese single, 'ICONIC HEART', on August 12, marking their official debut in the local market. Prior to this, on August 10, the group will release all tracks from the single via global music platforms to connect with local fans.
This Japanese debut is not merely the start of overseas activities but a full-scale campaign based on the local recognition they have steadily built since their debut. Hearts2Hearts topped the Oricon Daily Album Chart with their first mini-album 'FOCUS' and reached number one on the Billboard Japan Hot 100 with their single 'STYLE'. Their recent second mini-album, 'Lemon Tang', also secured the second spot on the Oricon Daily Album Chart, maintaining a consistent upward trend.
Additionally, positive factors include their continuous efforts to broaden their connection with the local public, such as releasing a Japanese version of 'RUDE!' and singing the opening theme for the anime 'Sweet & Sour Catch! TinyPig' airing in Japan. Accelerating their local activities ahead of the official debut, Hearts2Hearts will appear on TV Asahi's 'MUSIC STATION', Japan's representative music program, on the 10th to showcase their 'Lemon Tang' stage for the first time. Their appearance on 'MUSIC STATION', considered a symbol of the Japanese music market, is expected to be an opportunity to elevate their local recognition to the next level.
Hearts2Hearts is continuing successful comeback activities by winning first place on music shows with their recently released 'Lemon Tang'. They will also continue their domestic activities by appearing on MBC M 'Show! Champion', Mnet 'M Countdown', MBC 'Show! Music Core', and SBS 'Inkigayo'.
