ONEWE releases second single '點 : The Quiver', kicks off the dot-line-plane series with 'ICARUS'

ONEWE (Yonghun, Kanghyun, Harin, Dongmyeong, Kiuk), a band known for its skilled musicianship, returns with a new single that deepens its musical palette. The group released the second single '點 : The Quiver' at 6 PM on the 28th across major music platforms. The title track 'ICARUS' is built on an alternative rock foundation, blending ONEWE's emotive vocals with explosive band energy; as the song progresses, expanding guitar tones and layered choruses heighten the immersion. Lyrically, it reinterprets the Greek myth of Icarus from ONEWE's perspective, painting a romantic narrative of pursuing a light in unreachable hope, and choosing to fly toward you again even as the fall looms. The music video captures the band's pursuit of light amid wounds and setbacks, using contrasts of light and darkness to heighten lyricism and tension; a scene of the five members harmonizing beneath bright light is striking. In addition to the title track, the EP includes '좌표 (Coordinates)', '나침반 (Compass)', and 'FLY'—four tracks in total—marking the start of ONEWE's new dot-line-plane series. The members participated in all aspects of the production, underscoring their producing capabilities: Kanghyun wrote and composed the title track and '좌표'; Dongmyeong contributed lyrics and composition to 'FLY'; Kiuk is credited on all tracks. ONEWE previously held the 'ROLLING 31st Anniversary Concert STUDIO WE : LIVE #7 everyONE’s WEsh' at Rolling Hall in Mapo-gu, Seoul, from the 1st to the 3rd. The group debuted in May 2019, and this year marks their 7th anniversary.
