July 19, 2026
IVE's Lee Seo Yeon, an MZ generation icon, continues her steady activity in the OST scene. Starship Entertainment announced on the 19th that Lee Seo Yeon's first OST for the new tvN Sunday-Monday drama 'Spooky Romance,' titled 'Tunnel,' will be released on various music sites at 6 PM.
'Tunnel' is a song that captures the anxiety and loneliness felt in endless darkness, as well as the heart's desire to move forward toward a faint light amidst it. Lee Seo Yeon will use her unique vocal tone, which is both clear and emotionally moving, to delicately express the narrative and atmosphere of the song, further enhancing the drama's immersion.
In particular, as Lee Seo Yeon, who has consistently expanded her musical spectrum by participating in OSTs for various works such as dramas and anime, presents her fifth OST, expectations are high for the synergy she will create with the work through her emotions and voice. 'Spooky Romance' is a work that depicts the bumpy occult romance between Cheon Yeo-ri (Park Eun-bin), a chaebol heiress who can see ghosts, and Ma Kang-wook (Yang Se-jong), a passionate prosecutor who fears ghosts the most. It is a remake of the popular movie of the same name. Through 'Tunnel,' Lee Seo Yeon is expected to delicately portray the bleak reality, sadness, and hope that cannot be easily given up, expressing the emotions and wounds of the characters in the drama more deeply.
Since her debut, Lee Seo Yeon has established her vocal presence by maximizing the dreamy atmosphere unique to IVE's music with her solid high notes and delicate falsetto. In IVE's second full album 'REVIVE+,' released in February, she showcased the solo song 'Unreal,' proving her deeper emotions and Lee Seo Yeon's unique musical color. Accordingly, interest is focused on what song Lee Seo Yeon will continue her track record as an 'OST powerhouse' with.
Meanwhile, IVE, to which Lee Seo Yeon belongs, is currently on its second world tour 'SHOW WHAT I AM.' Through performances at Kyocera Dome in April and Tokyo Dome in June, she mobilized a total of 127,000 audience members, successfully completing her Japan tour and proving her hot local popularity by consecutively gracing the front pages of Japan's five major sports newspapers. Furthermore, starting from Toronto, Canada on the 21st, she will add to her global activities through a North American tour including Montreal, Newark, Austin, Los Angeles, Oakland, Seattle, and Vancouver.
