피프티피프티 returns with a dark concept, unveiling the fourth mini album Imperfect-I'mperfect

피프티피프티 kicked off 2026 with a striking image, releasing the first concept photos for their upcoming fourth mini album Imperfect-I'mperfect at 12:00 a.m. on the group’s official SNS on the 19th. In group cuts, unit cuts, and individual cuts, members wear black outfits and dark-toned makeup, creating a dark mood, while flashy metallic accessories draw attention. Visually, vinyl sheets, a fish tank, and blue lighting contribute to a dreamy yet eerie atmosphere, as if trapped underwater. The concept photos have sparked curiosity about the album’s musical direction and captured fans’ attention. Having hinted at a different musical color with the pre-release track STARSTRUCK, ATTRAKT-affiliated 피프티피프티 plans to continue releasing additional concept content in sequence to heat up the comeback countdown. The new album, rooted in a dark concept, is also signaling that it will actively showcase new musical colors. As STARSTRUCK receives positive responses, fans are eager to see what transformations the mini album will bring. According to the current schedule, the official release date of Imperfect-I'mperfect is June 1 at 6:00 PM. It will be released on music sites, and fans expect new music and concept content to be unveiled progressively. Separately, recent reports indicate that one member’s health condition temporarily paused activities; 피프티피프티 is reportedly preparing to promote as a four-member group. Despite this, the group remains determined to continue its strong image and musical challenges even as a four-member lineup. Imperfect-I'mperfect is a work that pursues both musical experimentation and visual transformation. The intensity of the concept photos released through ATTRAKT offers clues about the album’s direction and heightens fans’ expectations ahead of the June 1 release.
