YUHZ Make First Comeback With Debut EP ‘B,’ Bringing Stronger Teamwork and Bold Confidence
October 21, 2026
YUHZ are marking a fresh start with their first EP, ‘B.’ After capturing the excitement of youth with their debut single ‘Orange Record’ in May, the group return with a new release at 6 p.m. on the 21st. For their first comeback, they aim to showcase their own identity with stronger teamwork, greater confidence and a more relaxed presence.
Under the catchphrase ‘Before, Be, Begin,’ ‘B’ tells a story of youth connecting the past, present and future. The title track, ‘B.B.B,’ is a punk rock-based hip-hop song expressing their ambition to make the name YUHZ known to the world. The five-track EP also includes ‘Here We Go,’ ‘Moonlight,’ ‘To My Galaxy’ and an instrumental version of ‘B.B.B.’
The members approached the comeback with both excitement and conviction. In an interview with Ilgan Sports, Junseong said, “We practiced a lot to show more of who YUHZ are as a team this time. We’re confident we can give a great performance that reflects who we are now.” Bohyeon also shared his excitement for the stage, saying they had put in nearly twice as much practice as they did for their debut promotions.
Their growth came from time spent understanding one another and working together. In an interview with TV Daily, Hyo explained that although group practices running late into the night can be tough, the members now take the initiative to suggest practicing more. They work through differences together, while members with strengths in performance help the others refine their work. “I think we’ve pushed our limits further than during our last promotions,” Hyo said.
They have also grown more thoughtful about how they share feedback. Hyo said they can now have the conversations needed to improve together, offering suggestions such as, “Wouldn’t this look even better?” Youngest member Sechan said the slight barrier he initially felt with the older members had gradually disappeared. “The more time we spent together, the more they felt like my own older brothers. They all treat me so well,” he said.
The group have prepared new sides of themselves musically, too. In the Ilgan Sports interview, the members named vocalist Kai, who took on rap, Jaeil, who handled high notes, and Hyo, who revealed a tougher side, as members whose transformations would surprise fans. Junseong told TV Daily that he had thought carefully about creating a cooler feel while recording, while Yeontae said he worked to convey a more relaxed presence than on their previous release.
Their feelings for fans are captured in ‘To My Galaxy.’ Hyo described it as a song containing the words they want to say to fans, adding that they prepared the album to showcase many different sides of the group. Bohyeon said DEARZ’s support gave him strength during practice and promised to return that love twofold. Junseong also named fans as his driving force and expressed his hope that they would stay together for a long time. Anticipation is building for how YUHZ will bring their growing trust and energy to the stage for their first comeback.
