BABYMONSTER Nears 10 Billion YouTube Views as Summer Stage Leads Viewership
August 23, 2026
BABYMONSTER's official YouTube channel is approaching 10 billion cumulative views, reaching approximately 9.89 billion. The channel also surpassed 13 million subscribers on August 21st, making them the third K-pop girl group to reach that milestone. Their performance video from '2026 SBS Gayo Daejeon Summer' surpassed 1 million views shortly after its release. At the time reported, it had recorded the highest view count among performance videos from the event's participating artists. BABYMONSTER have repeatedly drawn strong interest with their large-scale broadcast performances. Their official stage videos also led overall view counts at the 2024 and 2025 year-end editions of SBS Gayo Daejeon, while their special and main performances ranked first and second in viewership at the 2025 MAMA Awards. At the 2026 summer event, BABYMONSTER moved through different moods with performances connected to 'CHOOM,' 'SUGAR HONEY ICE TEA' and 'MOON.' Their hand-mic vocals and demanding choreography placed the emphasis on the group's live performance skills. The appearance followed an active summer campaign built around their third mini album, 'CHOOM.' BABYMONSTER expanded the project with videos and performances for the title track, 'SUGAR HONEY ICE TEA,' 'I LIKE IT' and 'MOON,' maintaining a steady stream of content after the album's release. BABYMONSTER now have 17 official videos with more than 100 million views across music videos and performance content. Their growing subscriber and view totals show that both music videos and live-stage content remain major parts of their global reach. The group are also continuing their second world tour, '2026-27 BABYMONSTER WORLD TOUR [CHOOM].' The tour opened in Seoul and is scheduled to cover 29 shows in 18 cities across five continents. Rather than having completed the tour, BABYMONSTER are currently extending their online momentum through an ongoing international concert run.
