QWER Releases CEREMONY to Start Chapter 2… World Tour Growth and Participation by All Members

Group QWER opened Chapter 2 by releasing their mini fourth album CEREMONY. Completed with the participation of all four members, the album was released at 6:00 p.m. on the 27th across major music platforms. The title track CEREMONY carries a message to break free from the world's framework and live as one’s true self. At the media showcase held at Yes24 Wonder Rock Hall in Changcheon-dong, Seoul, the determined will of those starting Chapter 2 was laid bare. In interviews that day, the members spoke of a tighter teamwork and live energy forged on their world tour, and they also expressed gratitude to the fans. CEREMONY features five tracks, including the title song, as well as BAD HABIT, 바니바니, Our Voyage, and PIONEER. Siyeon said she aimed to express a more cinematic musical arrangement and a sense of team unity like a vow. Chodan said that after enduring a 10-month hiatus, she wants to show a more solid self on this album, while Magenta said she hopes to capture everyone's celebration in the title. Hina emphasized that all members actively participated in song creation during this activity, and noted that the physical and mental growth from the tour is reflected in the album. Siyeon also revealed that the song's difficulty was high and she felt a sense of burden when she first heard it, but learned many skills during the recording. As they close Chapter 1’s growth story and begin Chapter 2, they vowed to strengthen the do-or-die spirit and a family-like teamwork. The album's message also carries into their active promotions on music shows and their resolve to pursue a No. 1 on charts. They also stressed interaction with fans, and said if they reach No. 1 on the Melon chart they would collect fan letters and prepare a celebratory visit. Meanwhile, in the showcase held after the world tour, the members discussed the charm of live stages and the potential of festival stages. Chodan spoke of dreams of stepping onto large stages like the Summer Sonic Festival and emphasized that they will continue to challenge various genres to become a global band. With the release of CEREMONY, QWER again signaled their intent to expand their own musical universe based on growth from the recent world tour. In addition to the title track, the album blends the energy of BAD HABIT, the warm, empathetic expression of 바니바니, the message of a brighter tomorrow in Our Voyage and the exploratory sound of PIONEER. Fans can look forward to a new chapter from QWER through CEREMONY and to the musical maturity produced by all members. CEREMONY is expected to crack the charts soon after release and further boost their activity on domestic and international stages, buoyed by the confidence gained from the world tour.
