MONSTA X: Countdown to US Release of New Album Unfold, Reaffirming Global Strength
March 4, 2026
MONSTA X is reigniting its global activity in the US market. Starship Entertainment announced on its official social media on the 2nd that the US release Unfold will be unveiled with a coming soon image, and the album is set to be released on April 3, 2026 at 12:00 a.m. local time in each country. The coming soon poster features a design reminiscent of a document, with papers that look stamped or clipped, visually embodying the meaning of Unfold as the album title. Scattered across the poster are labels for the previously released singles baby blue (unveiled last November) and growing pains (announced in February this year), amplifying fans' expectations for how the new release will continue its narrative. At the bottom, the release date is shown as April 3, 2026.
The album includes two tracks released last year, baby blue and growing pains, and fans are curious what new musical expansions MONSTA X will bring on this release given their delicate emotional expression and refreshing charm.
MONSTA X has long solidified its position in the US market. Their first US studio album All About LUV in 2020 peaked at No. 5 on the Billboard 200, and their second studio album The Dreaming also charted for two weeks. Last year, in celebration of their 10th anniversary, they re-entered the Billboard 200 with the Korean mini album The X, and earned praise from global fandom through performances including the iHeartRadio Jingle Ball Tour in the US. They also won Best Group at the Golden Disk Awards in December, and reaffirmed their strength at this year’s 40th Golden Disk Awards in January.
Having successfully wrapped the Seoul stop of their recent world tour The X: Nexus, MONSTA X is determined to further target their global fanbase with this US release. With the teamwork, distinctive musical color, and overwhelming performances they have honed on the global stage, MONSTA X’s next moves are sure to draw global attention. The US release Unfold will be released worldwide simultaneously across music platforms on April 3 at 12:00 a.m. local time.
