ILLIT’s “It’s Me” MV Hits 200 Million Views in a Group-Record 180 Days—149 Days Faster Than “Magnetic”
October 28, 2026
ILLIT’s “It’s Me” music video has surpassed 200 million views on YouTube. It is the group’s second video to reach the milestone after their debut single “Magnetic,” and their fastest to do so.
According to BELIFT LAB on October 28, the music video for the title track of ILLIT’s fourth mini album passed 200 million views at around 3 a.m. on October 27. It reached the milestone 180 days after its April 30 release—149 days faster than “Magnetic,” which took 329 days.
The achievement reflects sustained interest in “It’s Me,” which continues to appear on YouTube’s daily Top Music Videos chart in South Korea six months after its release. With a second video exceeding 200 million views, ILLIT continues its run of music video success.
“It’s Me” captures the uncertainty of wondering where things stand with a crush after a first date, boldly declaring, “I’m your favorite!” The music video playfully follows the members as they struggle to get their love interest to name them their favorite, bringing the story to life with quirky charm and confident expression.
The performance pairs assertive, self-directed lyrics with the vibrant energy of techno. Its blend of relationship worries and frank confidence, along with the music video’s visual storytelling, continues to draw love from fans.
The song has also maintained its chart momentum, spending 24 consecutive weeks on the Billboard Global 200 and 25 on the Global Excl. U.S. chart. It surpassed 100 million cumulative streams on Japan’s Oricon chart and continues to chart on Billboard Japan and LINE MUSIC. It has also ranked near the top of South Korean music charts.
Its short-form popularity is another highlight. More than 2.5 million TikTok videos have used “It’s Me,” including its original sound. Alongside its music video views and chart results, the growing number of videos using the track shows continued interest across platforms.
ILLIT’s latest release has also made a strong start. Their fifth mini album, “BREAK EVEN,” topped Hanteo’s daily album chart on its release day, October 26. Its title track, “I’ll Arrest You,” entered the upper ranks of major South Korean music charts, including Melon, Bugs and Genie Music. With the lasting success of “It’s Me” coinciding with promotions for their new album, attention remains on ILLIT’s next steps.
