IVE to Return in October with ‘Looks Can Kill’… Pre-Release Single Drops on the 19th
September 28, 2026
IVE will make a comeback this October with a pre-release single and a new mini album. Their agency, Starship Entertainment, announced the schedule by releasing a coming-soon video for the new mini album ‘Looks Can Kill’ through its official social media channels. IVE will release the pre-release single on October 19, followed by the new mini album ‘Looks Can Kill’ on October 26. This marks their first new release in about eight months since their second full-length album, ‘REVIVE+,’ arrived in February.
The coming-soon video features projection mapping across the exterior of a high-rise building in the city. Alongside the new release’s logo, the phrase ‘IVE SPIN-OFF RELEASE 2026.10.19’ appears, while a Seoul landmark emerges behind the building. The building-wide IVE logo graphics and stylish visuals heighten curiosity about the concept of the new album. The agency plans to release a variety of teaser content sequentially through its official social media channels leading up to the album’s release.
IVE previously achieved notable musical success through their ‘REVIVE+’ promotions. Their double title track ‘BANG BANG’ earned a perfect all-kill (PAK) on major domestic music charts, marking the group’s sixth PAK overall. On music shows, ‘BANG BANG’ won eight trophies and ‘BLACKHOLE’ won one, bringing the two tracks’ combined total to nine. ‘BANG BANG’ also entered major global charts, including the Billboard Global 200, Global Excl. U.S., and World Digital Song Sales charts.
Their stage experience from a world tour is also raising anticipation for the new promotions. IVE began their second world tour, ‘SHOW WHAT I AM,’ in Seoul before performing in major cities across Asia, Oceania, and North America. They took the stage at Japan’s Kyocera Dome and Tokyo Dome, and met fans in eight North American cities, including three Canadian cities—Toronto, Montreal, and Vancouver.
Having broadened their performance experience and musical spectrum while connecting with fans around the world, IVE will present new music and a fresh concept through this mini album. With the pre-release single set to build anticipation before the full release of ‘Looks Can Kill,’ attention is focused on the new side of IVE they will showcase with this comeback.
