Singer HWASA topped SBS Inkigayo without a live performance, adding another chapter to her four-mestival crown on music programs. In the Inkigayo episode aired on the 11th, Hwasa's new song 'Good Goodbye' rose to No. 1, marking a return to the top on terrestrial music shows about a month after she first won on Show! Music Core on the 13th of last month. The Inkigayo No. 1 achievement is her second after the 7th episode, further solidifying her status as a leading solo queen.
According to iChart, as of 4:00 PM on the 11th, the total cumulative Perfect All-Kill (PAK) count stood at 633. This figure combines daily, weekly, and real-time charts from major music charts such as Melon, Genie, Bugs, YouTube Music, Flo, and Vibe.
Hwasa's ‘Good Goodbye’ has steadily increased its record since recording its first PAK on November 30 of last year, placing it third in the all-time PAK rankings behind Huntrix's ‘Golden’ (1484) and NewJeans' ‘Ditto’ (655). It remains the top among domestic solo artists, with fourth place going to BTS's ‘Dynamite’ (610) and fifth to IU's ‘Celebrity’ (462).
In this momentum, Hwasa will hold a two-day solo concert ‘MI CASA’ at Peace Palace of Kyung Hee University in Seoul's Dongdaemun District from the 17th to the 18th. This concert is meaningful as Hwasa's first solo concert since debuting 12 years ago. It is expected to be warmly received by fans who want to experience the music and stage firsthand.
Additionally, the consecutive chart rises of ‘Good Goodbye’ and the four-win record show that Hwasa's current momentum is not a mere temporary phenomenon. Meanwhile, since first recording a PAK at the end of November last year, ‘Good Goodbye’ has continued to accumulate within iChart's chart system, further proving Hwasa's distinctive musical universe. The news of this Inkigayo No. 1 is a big celebration for fans, and with the upcoming MI CASA concert, attention is focused on Hwasa's future moves.
