ITZY’s CHAERYEONG to Make Solo Album Debut With ‘Lovesick’ on November 9
October 20, 2026
ITZY’s CHAERYEONG will release her first solo mini album, ‘Lovesick,’ on November 9 at 6 p.m. KST. Following YEJI and YUNA, she will become the group’s third member to release a solo album.
JYP Entertainment announced the release on October 19, unveiling a trailer, tracklist and promotional schedule through ITZY’s official social media channels. Since debuting with the group in 2019, CHAERYEONG has demonstrated her singing, dancing and variety-show skills. Her first solo mini album will give her a new platform to explore her musical identity.
Presented like a storybook, the trailer follows a character played by CHAERYEONG who remains indifferent to almost everything around her. A birthday cake, a telephone catching fire, a lottery win, noise from upstairs and a floor covered in foam all fail to disturb her composure.
That changes when the character falls in love with a mysterious presence. The narration refers to the object of her affection as ‘it,’ leaving its identity unrevealed. The contrast between her usual indifference and this unexpected interest sets up the trailer’s story.
The album contains four tracks: lead single ‘Lovesick,’ ‘Moonlit Club,’ ‘Scent’ and ‘Favorite Reason.’ CHAERYEONG contributed to the lyrics for the closing track, ‘Favorite Reason,’ adding a songwriting credit to her first solo album.
Ahead of the release, the promotional schedule includes concept photos, music video photos, music video teasers and an album spoiler. These releases will build on the trailer’s introduction as the album’s release approaches.
CHAERYEONG will also host a countdown livestream on November 9 at 5 p.m. KST, giving her a chance to connect with fans an hour before the album arrives. ‘Lovesick’ and its title track will be available on music platforms at 6 p.m. KST that day.
