NCT WISH Captures the Thrill of First Love with ‘I SPY,’ Announces First Gocheok Sky Dome Shows for 2027
October 13, 2026
NCT WISH has returned with a new release capturing the excitement of first love and news of a new tour. The group released its fourth mini album, ‘I SPY,’ at 6 p.m. on October 12, debuted performances of its new songs at a comeback event, and announced its second solo concert tour, which begins at Gocheok Sky Dome in January 2027.
Arriving roughly five months after the group’s previous release, the album features six tracks: the title track ‘I SPY,’ ‘We Own This Street,’ ‘UPGRADE,’ ‘Super Major,’ ‘Hubble Time,’ and ‘Like A Dream.’ All tracks are available on music platforms, alongside the title track’s music video.
‘I SPY’ is a hybrid dance-pop song blending heavy 808 bass with stylish synth layers. Its arrangement shifts from section to section, portraying the moment when falling for someone turns every sense toward them. The repeated phrase ‘I SPY’ conveys curiosity, excitement, and a desire to invite that person into one’s world.
Herald Muse highlighted the song’s sound and the lyric “Come into my world” as expressions of a heart awakening to first love. SPOTV News praised the natural transitions between vocals and rap, noting that the upbeat sound and bright melody bring out the group’s fresh, vibrant charm. The track channels the giddy feeling of falling in love through NCT WISH’s signature energy.
Ahead of the release, NCT WISH held three sessions of its in-person album launch event, ‘I SPY YOU,’ at Korea University’s Hwajeong Gymnasium in Seoul on October 10–11. A total of 11,400 fans attended across the two days. The members performed ‘I SPY’ for the first time and also presented tracks including ‘We Own This Street’ and ‘UPGRADE.’
The venue brought the album’s concept of expanding the digital world ‘WISH LAND’ into reality to life, with six distinct rooms representing the members and a heart-shaped stage. Fans also took part as live dating coaches. With their help, NCT WISH transformed from ‘Confused Boy’ to ‘Lover Boy,’ turning the new song’s romantic excitement into an interactive experience.
At the end of the event, the group surprised fans by announcing its second solo concert tour, ‘INTO THE WISH : Face Our WISH.’ The tour opens with shows at Seoul’s Gocheok Sky Dome on January 15–16, 2027, marking NCT WISH’s first solo concerts at the venue.
Following encore concerts at KSPO DOME this year, the group will take the stage at Gocheok Sky Dome before its third debut anniversary. The Fact reported that the tour has so far announced stops in 13 cities across nine countries. With a new album exploring first love, a comeback event shared with fans, and its first Gocheok Sky Dome shows on the horizon, anticipation is building for NCT WISH’s next chapter.
