I.O.I Completes 10th-Anniversary Concert and Announces Asia Tour
June 1, 2026
Marking the 10th anniversary of its debut, I.O.I reunited as a nine-member group and successfully completed a solo concert in Seoul. The group is now preparing to embark on an Asia tour after its new song 'Out of the Blue' reached No. 1 on the charts.
I.O.I held '2026 I.O.I Concert Tour: LOOP in SEOUL' for three days from the 29th through the 31st of last month at Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Seoul. Lim Nayoung, Chungha, Kim Sejeong, Jung Chaeyeon, Kim Sohye, Yoo Yeonjung, Choi Yoojung, Kim Doyeon and Jeon Somi stood together onstage for the first time in about nine years. They brought the venue's energy to a peak with a run of major hits including 'Pick Me,' 'Dream Girls' and 'Whatta Man.'
The concert went beyond reviving memories and demonstrated I.O.I's musical growth by unveiling numerous new-song stages from the recently released third mini album 'I.O.I : LOOP.' Title track 'Out of the Blue' achieved the double distinction of reaching No. 1 on both Melon's TOP100 and HOT100 charts. The members shared the joyful news with fans onstage in an emotional moment.
In the latter part of the show, songs including 'Downpour,' the new album's answer song 'Us Then, Us Now,' and 'When the Cherry Blossoms Fade' completed a narrative connecting past and present and left fans deeply moved. The encore closed with a remix of 'Pick Me,' emphasizing the meaning of 'LOOP': that a farewell is not an eternal end, but a connection that continues.
After successfully concluding the Seoul shows, which drew about 13,000 domestic and international fans over three days, I.O.I will continue meeting global fans through an Asia tour visiting Bangkok, Thailand on the 6th and 7th and Hong Kong on the 20th and 21st.
Zhou Jieqiong and Kang Mina, who could not take part in these promotions because of individual schedules, also displayed their close friendship with the members. Zhou posted herself dancing to 'Out of the Blue' on social media and was shown on a video call with the members. Kang was seen spending time warmly with them through Jeon Somi's vlog and a visit to the venue, putting rumors of discord to rest.
After turning a nine-year hiatus into a miracle, I.O.I is making the significance of its 10th anniversary shine even brighter through the synergy of its reunion.
