tripleS Returns as Full 24-Member Group With 'Baby Flower,' a Healing Anthem for Girls
June 1, 2026
Twenty-four-member girl group tripleS is making its first full-group comeback in about a year, bringing new energy to the K-pop market. On the afternoon of the 1st, tripleS held a showcase at Blue Square Woori WON Banking Hall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, to mark the release of 'ASSEMBLE26 'LOVE & POP' pt.1' and began promotions together.
The release marks the first step in a new full-group project. Beginning with Part 1, tripleS plans to complete its unique narrative through three full-group albums. The album is an anthem for those it calls the 'small s'—people living without yet discovering their potential—and contains messages of empathy, comfort, solidarity and encouragement.
The title track 'Baby Flower,' like the earlier songs 'Girls Never Die' and 'Are You Alive,' speaks to girls experiencing the growing pains of youth. It carries the warm message, 'You are not the only one; we are all the same, so let us bloom like flowers now.' Moving away from the group's previously weighty and intense atmosphere, the song attempts a transformation through bright, positive energy. The members said, 'We tried to change in order to show a new side of ourselves,' expressing their firm resolve.
Musically, the track retains tripleS's signature 'la-la-la' sound while presenting its brightest version yet. High-register melodies were also written to maximize the exhilarating rush of intense, swelling emotion. The members said they worked hard for a polished stage, including practicing while running around an athletic field so their breathing would remain steady during live performances.
The globally scaled music video was filmed in four cities—Seoul, Bangkok, Taipei and Tokyo—and reflects the group's ambition to give courage to girls across Asia. Along with the title track, the seven-song album includes 'Sad Girls Schemin',' 'Peer,' 'Type of Girl,' 'Sleek,' 'I Like That' and 'Me Myself Mode,' organically connecting girls' thoughts and concerns. Member Park SoHyun participated in writing and composing 'Sleek,' demonstrating her musical ability.
JiYeon, the leader for these promotions, said, 'We too had a time when we were small s, so we prepared this album with even greater affection.' She hoped its sincere message would reach fans and the public. The members also named winning first place on a music show as their goal and plan to deliver the overwhelming performance and stirring emotion only a complete 24-member group can offer.
