January 5, 2026
Identity (idntt) held a media showcase on the afternoon of the 5th at Bluesquare SOL Travel Hall in Yongsan, Seoul, to celebrate the release of their new album yesweare. The event marked the first public performance of a 15-member large-scale crew, featuring the first unit unevermet and the newly joined unit yesweare. Unevermet debuted last August, so expectations for the two units’ synergy were high for this release. Members noted the strength of a large-performance format that can be conveyed simply by the number 15, and Hwanhee Lee expressed strong anticipation for the grand 15-member performance. The title track is Pretty Boy Swag, characterized by a rhythm where bass, electronic guitar, and brass blend powerfully. With a groove-driven feel and fifteen vocalists, Identity crafted a color not heard before. Jooho Kim explained that in the second verse, the two units’ performances could be enjoyed separately, and from the third verse they would unite as one team. Dohoon Kim added that the first and second verses showcase each unit, while the third verse is completed by the joined full team. The released album contains five tracks. In addition to the title track, it includes BOYS with a strong electronic sound, Yes We Are, Rage Problem based on electronic dance music, and Moon Burn in a jackin’ House style. The layered vocals from 15 members and the energy of a large-stage setup underline Identity’s drive toward a full lineup. At the showcase, Identity announced that the release of yesweare would be at 6 PM, and a fan showcase would follow at 8 PM the same day. For comeback goals, they aim for first place on music programs and a doubling of first-week sales compared to their previous album. Hwanhee Lee stressed that the colors and presence created by the diverse members will drive the group’s identity. Additionally, plans call for a second act toward a 24-member full lineup, including nine members not yet revealed. A label official said nine people are steadily preparing to fill the remaining nine spots, and from here they plan to introduce the future unit ItsNotOver to present 24 members as a full lineup. Dohoon Kim stated that they will gradually reveal the expanded world from Unevermet and Yesweare to ItsNotOver. yesweare will be officially released at 6 PM, and the expansion toward a 24-member full lineup is expected to continue. Fans are looking forward to the powerful energy of large-scale performances and multi-member stages in the group’s future activities.
