YUSPIER Returns After 1 Year with Agency Move and New Leader
June 17, 2026
Girl group YUSPIER has made their comeback after one year, moving from WM Entertainment to MW Entertainment and reorganizing as a six-member unit following the departure of leader Yeo-won. They released their first mini-album, 'BITE DISTRICT,' featuring the title track 'Wicked Game,' which showcases a dreamy and fresh concept. The members expressed their ambition to become the 'backbone' of MW Entertainment.
YUSPIER announced their return at a media showcase held on the 17th at Myeonghwa Live Hall in Yeongdeungpo-gu, Seoul. Members So-i, Si-an, Seo-yu, Da-on, Chae-na, and Roa met fans with their changed appearances after long preparation. So-i expressed joy at showing a new side after a long wait, while Chae-na noted the strong feeling of a 're-debut.' Da-on and Si-an also thanked fans for their patience, emphasizing their solidified presence.
The album 'BITE DISTRICT' signifies the moments when relationships begin with light touches. The title track 'Wicked Game' features an addictive hook and emotional sound, capturing the fresh feelings of girls who are not entirely honest in love. Seo-yu explained that while their debut album signaled a beginning, this one represents the continuation of that relationship. Da-on added that they brought a cute and playful vibe.
YUSPIER debuted under WM Entertainment in 2025 but moved to MW Entertainment after its founder, Lee Won-min, established the new agency. In May, leader Yeo-won departed due to personal reasons, leading to the group's reorganization into a six-member team. Si-an mentioned that they initially struggled without Yeo-won but overcame it through hard work, while So-i shared that Yeo-won encouraged them to return quickly.
The members also showed deep affection for their current agency. Seo-yu thanked the CEO for believing in their potential and treating them differently as the first artists of MW. Se-na declared her determination to become the 'backbone' of MW, and Si-an expressed her desire to be known as a 'place for addictive music.' The album was produced with support from the Korea Creative Content Agency's Global Leap Support Project for small and medium agencies and will be released on music sites at 6 PM.
