JEONGHAN X JOSHUA Unveil “12 o’clock” MV Teaser Ahead of “DREAMSCAPE” Release
October 18, 2026
SEVENTEEN’s JEONGHAN X JOSHUA are launching their first unit activities with music that crosses the boundaries between day and night, dreams and reality. Their first mini album, “DREAMSCAPE,” and the full music video for its title track, “12 o’clock,” will be released on October 19 at 6 p.m. KST.
Released on October 17, the “12 o’clock” music video teaser follows the pair through contrasting settings. Cool, surreal daytime landscapes alternate with mysterious, alluring nighttime scenes, offering a glimpse of the album’s atmosphere. Their sophisticated presence and stylish direction give the teaser the feel of a fashion film.
An unusual creature in the teaser also draws attention. With a long, serpent-like body and peacock feathers, it evokes the ouroboros, a snake swallowing its own tail to form a circle. Images suggesting cycles have appeared repeatedly in earlier promotional content, raising curiosity about how this scene will connect to the full music video.
“12 o’clock” is a dance-rock track that puts a modern spin on 1970s and 1980s disco and funk. Its lyrics tell a story of pursuing someone the narrator dreams of, moving between noon and midnight. The duo’s languid, mature vocals complement lyrics open to multiple interpretations. According to Ilgan Sports, BUMZU, a longtime SEVENTEEN collaborator, contributed to the lyrics and composition.
The album explores both fantasies that emerge during sleep and dreams one hopes to realize in everyday life. Having worked together in SEVENTEEN’s vocal team, JEONGHAN and JOSHUA showcase their chemistry and individual musical identities through unit and solo tracks. A previously released track sampler paired visuals with each of the seven songs, introducing the album’s varied sounds and moods.
Ilgan Sports also detailed the tracks’ genres and the members’ solo contributions. The album includes the house-based “Like You,” “Outside,” featuring electric piano melodies, the R&B-soul track “One Plus One,” and “No Looking Back,” driven by gritty guitar sounds. JOSHUA helped write the lyrics for “Not Personal,” which promises an intense sound built on rock and funk rhythms, while JEONGHAN delivers dreamy vocals on “Coloring,” for which he wrote the lyrics.
Following the release, the duo will meet fans through broadcasts and concerts. Starting with Mnet’s “M Countdown” on October 22, they plan to perform their new music on major music shows. Their standalone concert, “JEONGHAN X JOSHUA JOURNEY INTO [DREAMING],” opens at INSPIRE Arena in Incheon from October 30 to November 1. Tickets for the Incheon shows sold out during the fan club presale.
According to Ilgan Sports, the concert series will run through February next year across six cities: Incheon, Saitama in Japan, Macau, Taipei, Busan and Hong Kong. With seven songs exploring dreams and reality, anticipation is building for how the duo will bring their music to life on music shows and concert stages.
