BLACKPINK Members Line Up Solo Releases During the Group’s 10th Anniversary Year

BLACKPINK members Jennie, Jisoo, and Lisa are preparing consecutive solo releases as the group marks its 10th anniversary year. Jennie will begin the lineup with new music in late August, followed by Lisa and Jisoo in early September and Lisa’s full EP in October. While the releases arrive close together, they are separate solo schedules rather than an officially announced BLACKPINK anniversary series. Jennie will release her digital EP, Fallen Angel, on August 28th at 1 p.m. KST. The three-track project includes the title track “FALLEN ANGEL,” “HEAVEN,” and “Less than a Lover.” A physical edition will expand the tracklist to six songs by adding the exclusive tracks “sweettooth,” “lockitdown,” and “Face.” Preorders for the physical edition opened on August 26th. Jisoo will return with her single album CLICK on September 4th. A teaser released through her official channels introduced an amusement-park-inspired setting with a darker and more mysterious atmosphere. The new release follows her solo EP AMORTAGE and “EYES CLOSED,” her 2025 collaboration with British singer Zayn. Lisa will begin her next solo era with “SaWaDiKa” on September 3rd. The title is a stylized form of a Thai greeting commonly used to say hello, connecting the project to Lisa’s roots in Thailand. The song will serve as the first single from her upcoming EP PRESS PLAY, which is scheduled for release on October 23rd. The three releases also reflect BLACKPINK’s current approach to group and solo activities. The members continue their group career with YG Entertainment while managing individual work through their respective labels and partners. Jennie operates through OA, Jisoo through BLISSOO, and Lisa through LLOUD. Their solo schedules follow a complicated 10th anniversary period for BLACKPINK. Some fans criticized the limited advance notice and organization surrounding the group’s anniversary event, and the members later addressed the concerns with apologies. The upcoming releases will now give fans a closer look at the individual musical directions Jennie, Jisoo, and Lisa are pursuing while remaining active as members of BLACKPINK.
