TOURS Expands Direct Romance with NO TRAGEDY... Pre-orders Surpass 1.16 Million, Heating Up for a Million-Seller
April 27, 2026
A showcase held at YES24 Live Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul, commemorating the release of the mini fifth album NO TRAGEDY, stood as a clear signal of TOURS' growth. The pre-order news was reported to have reached 1.16 million copies as of April 24, and the group reflected on the meaning of this number beyond a sudden spike. Leader Shin Yu said, "I was surprised that pre-orders exceeded 1 million, and we will use this as motivation from fans to work even harder." As TOURS enters their third year since debut, they made clear their intent to sharpen their image and present a stronger 'direct romance.'
This new album NO TRAGEDY tells the story of six boys who do not yield to fate and who complete love on their own. Centered on the title track "널 따라가 (You, You)," it also includes six tracks: "너의 모든 가능성이 되어 줄게," "Why You So Bad?", "Get It Now," "Fire Escape," and "Back To Strangers." The genres range from house, R&B, boom-bap hip hop, funk to rock, broadening the emotional arc of a youth Romeo.
What seemed not to involve all members' writing participation apparently materialized. Dohun contributed to the title track's lyrics, and Youngjae, Hanjin, and Jihoon are said to have contributed to the lyrics on some tracks. This aligns with the members' explanation that they aimed to capture TOURS' color in the lyrics. Shin Yu emphasized that this album portrays youth stories in fresher and more varied colors, and Jihoon said that while preserving TOURS' existing image, the range of expression has widened.
There were clear changes on stage too. In their third year, the members' freedom of expression has strengthened, and their maturity has become outwardly evident as they began working out together. Youngjae pointed to the more relaxed expressions and gestures on stage as a point of growth, and Kyungmin added that this album allows them to show more diverse looks and colors as they become adults.
TOURS' activities will extend into challenges as well. Following last year's Angtal Challenge, this time they teased the 'Ttarum Challenge.' The challenge centers on the powerful repeating segment "Ttarum" in the chorus and is prepared to be enjoyed through choreographic variations. The members expressed interest in collaborating with IU on a challenge, and they also discussed safe links with the 'Ddareungi' bicycles. This is expected to open new horizons for fan interaction and content expansion.
On the showcase day, the fandom 'Sai' was also highly valued. Jihoon said, "Sai fans love our music; melodies are catchy and the lyrics are easy to grasp." Hanjin added, "TOURS hopes to become everyone's ideal type." Kyungmin stated, "Now that we are all adults, we want to remain a group that can handle not only freshness but also a variety of genres." NO TRAGEDY consists of six tracks, and its release was promptly made available on music sites at 6 PM that day. TOURS will continue to broaden their activities through appearances on music shows and variety content. The members said their future goal is to perform in stadiums, widening the distance with fans and meeting on bigger stages. Through NO TRAGEDY, they sing about the possibility of a happy ending rather than tragedy. Anticipation grows for these artists’ moves, where freshness and directness coexist.
