September 7, 2026
The 2026 Korea Grand Music Awards has unveiled its second performer lineup, adding ten acts from K-pop, band music, and trot. The KGMA Organizing Committee announced that Dayoung, SHINee’s Minho, DAY6’s Young K, Yuna, Choi Yena, LUCY, Touched, Novelbright, Park Ji-hyun, and Jang Min-ho will take part in this year’s ceremony. The newly announced lineup brings together artists from several areas of popular music. Dayoung, Minho, Young K, Yuna, and Choi Yena will represent the solo field, while LUCY, Touched, and Japanese pop-rock band Novelbright will add live-band performances. Trot singers Park Ji-hyun and Jang Min-ho complete the second group of performers. Several of the artists are joining the ceremony during active periods in their careers. Minho released his second mini album, 'Make It Hot,' on September 7th, while Young K returned with his second studio album, 'Youngist,' in July. Yuna expanded into solo activities with her first solo album, 'Ice Cream,' and Choi Yena continued her recent momentum with 'Love Catcher' and its title track, 'Catch Catch.' The band lineup also reflects the ceremony’s wider musical range. LUCY achieved a new personal first-week sales record with their second studio album, 'Childish,' while Touched are preparing to release their first studio album in October. Novelbright will bring their melody-driven Japanese pop-rock sound to the event. Park Ji-hyun and Jang Min-ho will represent the trot category. The '2026 KGMA' will be held on November 7th and 8th at Gocheok Sky Dome in Seoul. RESCENE’s Woni and actress Nam Ji-hyun will host the first day, while IVE’s Liz and actor Kim Jae-won will lead the second day. The ceremony will be broadcast live on ENA, with additional streaming information to be announced later. Official fan voting is being conducted through the coogoong app.
