Stray Kids Spend Second Week in Billboard 200 Top 3 and Win at TIMA
August 26, 2026
Stray Kids has extended the success of their latest mini album, 'THIS & THAT,' by remaining in the top three of the Billboard 200 for a second consecutive week. The group also added another international award to their record by winning International Group of the Year at the 2026 TMElive International Music Awards in Hong Kong.
'THIS & THAT' debuted at No. 1 on the Billboard 200 before ranking No. 3 in its second week. This marks the first time a Stray Kids album has spent more than one week inside the chart's top three. It also follows the group's ninth consecutive No. 1 entry on the Billboard 200.
According to Luminate, 'THIS & THAT' earned 82,000 equivalent album units in the United States during the week ending August 20th. The total represents the strongest second-week performance of Stray Kids' career in the US market, showing that the album maintained substantial momentum after its chart-topping debut.
The Billboard result arrived alongside recognition at the second TMElive International Music Awards, also known as TIMA. The two-day event concluded on August 23rd at Hong Kong's Kai Tak Stadium, a venue with a capacity of approximately 50,000 people. Tencent Music Entertainment Group produced the event, which brought together 34 artists from several international music markets.
This year's ceremony was presented through three themed chapters: 'Sparkle,' 'Starlight,' and 'Aurora.' Rather than focusing on one regional market, TIMA assembled artists from across Asia and other parts of the world for a large-scale music event combining performances and international award presentations.
Stray Kids received International Group of the Year, one of the ceremony's major international honors. Other awards included International Artist of the Year for Charlie Puth and The Most Influential International Group of the Year for SUPER JUNIOR. G-DRAGON's 'Übermensch' received The International Digital Album of the Year.
The Billboard 200 result and TIMA recognition highlight two different sides of Stray Kids' current international reach. 'THIS & THAT' is demonstrating sustained commercial performance in the United States, while the group's TIMA award reflects their growing recognition across the broader Asian music market.
With their strongest US second week to date and another international award secured, Stray Kids is continuing to expand the scale and consistency of their global achievements.
