BIGBANG Opens 'XX : COSMOS' World Tour in Goyang for 20th Anniversary
August 23, 2026
BIGBANG opened their 20th-anniversary world tour with three concerts at Goyang Stadium from August 21st through 23rd. The final Goyang show brought together the group's past and present through two decades of hit songs, solo stages and a large-scale space-themed production. The concert began with 'Fantastic Baby' before moving through representative songs including 'Tonight,' 'Blue,' 'Loser' and 'Baby Baby.' The atmosphere continued to build with 'Haru Haru' and 'Lies,' as fans filled the stadium with loud fan chants. The audience included both longtime supporters and younger fans, reflecting the generational reach BIGBANG's music has developed over the past 20 years. After the opening performances, G-DRAGON declared that BIGBANG was back. DAESUNG introduced himself as an artist who had been singing for 20 years, acknowledging the significance of the anniversary. TAEYANG encouraged the audience to give all their energy to the final Goyang performance. The production reflected the official tour title, 'BIGBANG 2026-2027 WORLD TOUR <XX : COSMOS>.' Large screens displayed galaxies, planets and other cosmic imagery, creating a visual universe around the performance. Light sticks from different eras shone throughout the stands, connecting the group's history with its current chapter. Each member also presented solo stages that highlighted their individual musical identities. DAESUNG performed trot songs including 'Look At Me, Gwisun' and 'Over Limit,' while TAEYANG and G-DRAGON delivered their own solo sets. The members maintained their energy throughout the stadium-scale show before concluding the main performance with 'Home Sweet Home.' BIGBANG released the digital single 'BiiiG' on August 19th, their 20th debut anniversary, shortly before opening the tour. The release marked their first new group song in approximately four years and four months, following 'Still Life' in April 2022. The Goyang concerts marked the beginning of BIGBANG's first group world tour in nine years. Following the opening shows in Korea, the tour will continue across major cities around the world through February 2027, beginning a new chapter in the group's 20-year career.
