Dahyun x Jay Park Collaborative Single Announced

WJSN's Dahyun is embarking on a new musical challenge with her debut collaborative single. On the 28th, teasing images of Dahyun and Jay Park together were released across various social media platforms, sparking widespread interest. This image serves as teaser content for their collaborative single, scheduled for release in August. Following her solo debut, Dahyun has consistently built her own unique musical identity, and this collaboration promises to showcase another layer of her charm. The released image captures a vintage, black-and-white mood, drawing attention with its aesthetic. Scenes of the two naturally conversing and walking hand-in-hand evoke excitement, raising expectations for their powerful chemistry. Their connection began in December last year at the '2025 Melon Music Awards (MMA 2025).' At the time, Dahyun appeared as a surprise guest on Jay Park's stage, delivering perfect synergy and strong chemistry despite it being their first joint performance. Subsequently, Dahyun appeared again on Jay Park's 'Waterbomb' stage on the 25th, with a unit teaser image released shortly after the performance, catching the public's eye. Amidst this, attention is focused on what kind of music the two will present after showcasing their unique chemistry through various stages and content. This single marks Dahyun's first new song in about four months since releasing her second digital single, 'What's a girl to do,' in April. Since her solo debut, Dahyun has actively participated in album planning and production, as well as songwriting and composition, continuously proving her musical authenticity and capabilities as an artist. In particular, she has firmly established her identity as a solo artist by actively reflecting her ideas in the concept, sound, and visuals of her works. Dahyun was named on the 'Best K-Pop of 2025' list selected by Billboard, NME UK, and The Hollywood Reporter for her solo debut song 'body,' and through 'What's a girl to do,' she captured the hearts of global fans beyond Korea, further proving her presence as a solo artist and winning multiple solo artist awards at various ceremonies. As Dahyun builds her own musical world and continues meaningful records through her solo activities, anticipation is high for what music and message she will convey in her first collaborative single with Jay Park. Meanwhile, information regarding the collaborative single between Dahyun and Jay Park will be sequentially released along with various content in the future.
