HYBE Label ABD's New Girl Group TUIDE to Debut with 'TUNE & PLAY'

TUIDE, a new seven-member girl group from HYBE Music Group's label ABD, will officially debut on August 24 at 6 PM KST with their first EP, 'TUNE & PLAY'.

The group consists of SEOHEE, SEOYEON, ELENA, JIA, SAKI, SEAH, and YI HANI. TUIDE will be the first artist introduced by ABD, a new HYBE label led by Master Professional Han Sung-soo.

Han Sung-soo is overseeing the group's overall creative direction, while production team GroovyRoom has contributed to the music on the debut EP. The album incorporates elements of soul, house, garage, R&B, and hip-hop across its five tracks.

The title track, 'SUN KISS', introduces what the label describes as TUIDE's 'Soultronic' style, combining the warmth of soul music with electronic sounds. The song features a rhythmic beat, a relaxed melody, and a repeated vocal hook designed to establish the group's musical identity.

'TUNE & PLAY' contains five tracks: 'ABD', 'SUN KISS', 'Echo', 'Flip-Flop Girl', and 'GRLS'. The songs explore different styles, including UK garage, 1990s-inspired R&B, deep house, classic house, and ballad elements.

TUIDE released a highlight medley for the EP through the HYBE LABELS YouTube channel on August 17. The video presents excerpts from all five tracks alongside a performance-focused preview featuring the seven members.

The group's name is derived from the phrase 'Tune the Tide', reflecting the idea of bringing different personalities and musical influences together in harmony.

TUIDE's first EP, 'TUNE & PLAY', and the music video for 'SUN KISS' will be released on August 24 at 6 PM KST.
