September 21, 2026
82MAJOR wrapped up approximately three weeks of music show promotions for “Like Fire,” the title track of their second single album “HEAT,” after recording their most notable results since debut. The group concluded their “Like Fire” broadcast promotions with SBS’s “Inkigayo” on the 21st.
Released on the 1st, “HEAT” topped Hanteo Chart’s daily sales chart on its first day and surpassed 150,000 copies in first-week sales. “Like Fire” reached No. 64 on Melon’s HOT 100 chart, setting a new personal best, and claimed the group’s first No. 1 on Bugs’ real-time chart. The release further cemented the promotion’s significance by setting new personal bests in both album and digital music performance.
The song also achieved strong results on overseas charts. “Like Fire” reached No. 3 on iTunes Spain’s Top Songs chart, No. 5 on Austria’s K-pop chart, and No. 9 on France’s K-pop chart. It also ranked among the top K-pop entries in Germany, the United Kingdom, Australia, and Canada. On China’s Wangyiyun Music, it placed No. 21 on the Rising Chart, No. 46 on the Soaring Chart, and No. 88 on the New Songs Chart. The B-side “TROPHY (Spanish Ver.)” also drew attention from fans in Korea and abroad, ranking No. 4 on iTunes Spain’s Top Songs chart and No. 20 on TikTok’s Trending chart.
Onstage, 82MAJOR delivered a powerful performance befitting their “devils of men” image. Appearing on major music shows, the group captured the mood of “Like Fire” through fighter-inspired styling, bandage details, and choreography incorporating matches. In particular, on MBC M and MBC every1’s “Show Champion” on the 9th, they took home their first-ever music show trophy three years after debut.
Following their music show win, 82MAJOR added awards-show recognition to their achievements. They won the K-World Dream Best Performance Award at the 2026 K-World Dream Awards and the Global Connect Award at the SPOTV K-pop Awards. They also prepared a special stage for their fandom, ATITUDE. On “Show Champion,” they premiered a performance of the B-side “오늘 어때 (wyd?)” and surprised fans by releasing a music video filmed in Hong Kong.
After concluding their promotions, 82MAJOR will continue the momentum with a solo concert. Their sixth solo concert, “82CLUB : out of control,” will take place on October 24 and 25 at YES24 Live Hall in Gwangjin-gu, Seoul. The concert sold out all seats after general ticket sales opened. With new personal bests in album and digital music performance, their first music show win, awards-show honors, and a sold-out solo concert, attention is now focused on what 82MAJOR will deliver on their next stage.
