January 6, 2026
CNBLUE unveiled a teaser for Killer Joy a day ahead of the release of their third studio album 3LOGY. FNC Entertainment announced on the group’s official SNS on the 5th that the Killer Joy music video teaser had been released for the first time. In the video, members Jung Yong-hwa, Kang Min-hyuk, and Lee Jung-shin are seen packing bags, pulling instruments from inside, and aiming at something. The concept evokes a killer, and the mood gradually intensifies, heightening expectations for the story the new song will tell. The track is described as a modern pop-rock song with dramatic dynamics and minimalist drum beats, featuring energy that explodes in bursts within an unpredictable progression. The teaser, which left a strong impression on fans before the official release, hints at an expanded musical spectrum and will be released at 6:00 PM on the 7th together with the title track of the third album 3LOGY.
Meanwhile, the pre-release track Still, a Flower was released on the 1st, drawing significant attention domestically and internationally. Still, a Flower tells a story of a flower blooming again amid wounds and darkness, with Jung Yong-hwa contributing to the lyrics and composition for added sincerity. Forbes recently highlighted CNBLUE’s activities, reporting that the global response to Still, a Flower is positively affecting FNC Entertainment as it marks its 20th anniversary, and CNBLUE’s activities in Japan are also drawing notice. It was also reported that CNBLUE’s Japanese release Shin Touya (心盗夜) topped the Oricon daily and weekly singles charts, and that they performed at the FNC Kingdom concert at Yokohama Pia Arena MM at year’s end.
With Still, a Flower already drawing attention worldwide, CNBLUE plans to showcase a clearly different charm with Killer Joy as the title track. 3LOGY will be officially released at 6:00 PM on the 7th, and the Killer Joy music video will be released at the same time. Beyond the short teaser, fans are eager to see how Jung Yong-hwa’s vocal performance and involvement in writing and composing will shape the new story. Fans have praised the pre-release track, saying it heals them with music, and expectations are high for the musical expansion CNBLUE will demonstrate with this album.
