TOMORROW X TOGETHER Unveil Second Concept Photos for ‘PERFECT STORM’

TOMORROW X TOGETHER are unfolding the story of their new album through the calm found at the heart of a storm.

At midnight on October 28, the group released “EYE OF THE STORM,” the second set of concept photos for their ninth mini album, “PERFECT STORM,” through their official social media channels. Ahead of their November 16 comeback, the images capture the five members staying grounded amid intense turmoil.

The photos contrast the members’ stillness with the dynamic movement around them. As figures dressed in black move wildly, the members gaze calmly beyond the storm’s center. Their seemingly scorched outfits suggest traces of the fierce winds they have weathered, adding to the concept’s atmosphere.

BIGHIT MUSIC explained that the black-clad figures represent violently swirling winds. Their movements embody a mix of noise, change, anxiety and anticipation. The restless surroundings and the members’ quiet composure visually convey the complex emotions that come with growing up.

The mood also marks a shift from the first concept, “RIDE THE STORM.” While those photos captured the moment of boldly surrendering to a gale, “EYE OF THE STORM” focuses on the unexpected peace found within it. The two concepts depict different moments in the same storm, carrying forward the album’s message.

“PERFECT STORM” tells the story of Gen Z youth confronting the weight of reality after the dreams and uncertainty of their teenage years. Its six tracks explore swirling emotions, from everyday pain and longing to moments of inevitable change. The storm imagery in the concept photos reflects these feelings of youth that run throughout the album.

The lead single, “Angel Bite,” expresses the desire to stay with someone precious even amid the less-than-beautiful realities of youth. A love song about remaining by someone’s side through confusion and growing pains, it offers a glimpse of the love story the album will tell.

Anticipation has also translated into pre-saves. According to the agency, “PERFECT STORM” has surpassed 300,000 Spotify pre-saves and topped Spotify’s “Top 10 Countdown” for three consecutive days, from October 26 to 28.

TOMORROW X TOGETHER will complete their three-part visual concept with the third photo set, “HOLDING THE STORM,” on October 30. The “PERFECT STORM IN MOTION” video follows on October 31, with an album preview arriving November 5. All tracks from “PERFECT STORM” will be released on digital music platforms on November 16 at 6 p.m. KST.
