SF9's Inseong Opens a New Chapter as Solo Artist with Crossfade: Into the Boundary Between the 'Real Me' and the 'Masked Me'

This year marks SF9's 10th anniversary since debut, and Inseong, SF9's main vocal, opens a new chapter as a solo artist. According to the agency, Inseong will release his first mini album Crossfade: on the 14th at 6:00 PM, bringing together a diverse musical spectrum. Crossfade: is described as an album that captures the moment when the boundary between the 'real me' in a private space and the 'masked me' created under others' gaze gradually overlaps. Under this concept, his musical color is expected to become even more defined.

The title track is 'Mute is Off', and the other tracks included are ‘만찬가’, ‘사랑하려는 중’, ‘네가 물든 기억’, and ‘넌 그때 거기, 난 지금 여기’—a total of five tracks. Having previously released the making-of video 'is this real me?', fans could see the questions and choices that went into completing the album, increasing interest in Inseong's musical concerns and direction.

Known for SF9's main vocal with a rich, powerful voice and a dense vocal tone, Inseong has showcased a variety of colors and built a solid vocal foundation by alternating between drama OSTs and musical stages. In this solo album, based on his accumulated musical experience, he is expected to solidify his place as an all-around vocalist.

With the release of Crossfade:, Inseong will connect with fans directly through a mini live on the album release day, and on January 31 he will perform solo for the first time on the domestic festival '2026 First Music Station' stage.
