Solbi Releases New Song 'Holiday' to Celebrate 20th Anniversary with Refreshing Summer Vibes

Singer Solbi is returning with a new song that captures refreshing summer vibes to mark her 20th anniversary since debut. On the 21st at noon, Solbi released her digital single 'Holiday' via various online music platforms. 'Holiday' is a track that captures the moment of escaping from repetitive daily routines to find one's own happiness and leisure. With its upbeat rhythm, cool sounds, and Solbi's signature bright and energetic vocals, the song is filled with summer feelings.

This new song was produced by performance director Gunjo, and composer Park Hae-woon, known for DJ DOC's 'Dance with DOC' and 'Run To You' and Cool's 'Beer and Peanuts,' contributed to enhance its quality. In particular, Solbi participated in the lyrics writing to add meaning. Through lyrics such as 'Today is a canvas spread with sunlight' and 'I'm just drawing my own day,' she conveys a message to enjoy life at her own pace even amidst busy days. The 'Roma Holiday' appearing in the chorus is a witty expression incorporating Solbi's nickname 'Princess Roma,' bringing joy to long-time fans.

The album cover also catches the eye. The visual of an endless desert, a pink vintage car, and a blue sky harmoniously expresses the free and refreshing mood of the song. It also captures the meaning of Solbi starting a new journey on her 20th anniversary. The music video was directed by Han Sang-beom, who has worked with IU, Suzy, Tiger JK, and Urban Zakapa, with Gunjo handling concept planning and choreography. Filmed using a one-take technique, it promises an immersive experience with seamless camera movement and performance, resembling a musical. Additionally, musical actors who participated in Lee Chan-hyuk's 'Vivid Rare Love' appeared to add richness.

Netizens are reacting with comments like 'It's been a while since I felt Solbi's vibe,' 'Feels like a summer drive song,' 'Energy is still strong after 20 years,' and 'Already looking forward to the music video.' Meanwhile, Solbi, celebrating her 20th anniversary, plans to actively connect with fans through various performances and stages starting with the new song 'Holiday'.
