ShownuXHyungwon of MONSTA X's unit once again captured fans' attention with the suit dance for the new track Do You Love Me. The duo recently released the suit-dance rendition of the title track from their mini album LOVE ME on the YouTube channel 1theK Originals, wearing grayscale suits for a clean yet sexy vibe. In the video, ShownuXHyungwon expressively performed a symmetrical choreography, maximizing the song's tension and deadly allure. Their tight rapport also drew viewers deeper into the performance, with facial expressions and gestures winning Monbebes' hearts. They announced that they will stay active through 2026's MONSTA X World Tour THE X: NEXUS. The LOVE ME mini album, officially released on the 21st at 6:00 PM, comprises seven tracks, including a Hyungwon-produced song, weaving a deep narrative that explores the many facets of love. Among the album's tracks, Do You Love Me is the title track focusing on ShownuXHyungwon's performance color and a powerful chorus. The pair emphasized physicality and clean lines more than in their Monsta X days, striving to project a strong charm even in a restrained mood. Hyungwon said the unit has its own narrative color that differentiates from Monsta X's lineup, we now have our own story and can show diverse charms. Shownu also said, I hope the unit lasts long-term, expressing a desire to present a more mature and natural presence through this activity. During the MV shoot, the two highlighted their connection. Shownu said he first felt closer as they shared each other's stories during filming, and Hyungwon said Shownu's new acting persona was unfamiliar at first but felt fresh and special. Do You Love Me's arrangement blends intense physicality with a restrained mood, and giving power to the chorus became the album's core. Hyungwon said, The title track matters, but the overall album's completion is more important. Among the seven tracks, the second track Superstitious was once considered as a potential title, but the final title was Do You Love Me. Shownu said the activity is about promising a new stage to fans and working hard, prioritizing time with fans as an 11-year group. Hyungwon added that it's a joy to show many new things and see fans and anyone who listens to his work enjoy it, emphasizing the pleasure from this EP. Their goal is not to chase numbers or achievements, but to meet fans in person on stage for a long time. Meanwhile, ShownuXHyungwon will appear on Inkigayo on the 24th at 3:20 PM to perform Do You Love Me, and they will continue with more performances and festival events to meet fans more often.
