Stray Kids became the first overseas male artist to hold a solo concert at Japan’s National Stadium, performing two sold-out shows at MUFG Stadium in Tokyo on August 29 and 30. The concerts, part of their world tour ‘RUN IT,’ drew 140,000 people in person. Including the paid online livestream and live-viewing audiences, the total audience reached approximately 175,000. The group opened the show with ‘Hall of Fame’ and performed songs spanning their career, including ‘Hellevator,’ ‘District 9,’ ‘Side Effects,’ ‘Double Knot,’ ‘MANIAC,’ and ‘God’s Menu.’ They also gave the first live performance of ‘This & That’ and unveiled ‘just a little’ and ‘宿命’ from their third Japanese mini-album ‘Hollow’ for the first time onstage. The stadium-scale production featured 28 songs over approximately three hours, supported by fireworks and flame effects. At the end of the August 30 concert, Stray Kids announced three additional ‘RUN IT JAPAN’ shows at Tokyo Dome on November 6, 7, and 8. The expanded Japanese leg now consists of ten concerts across Tokyo, Nagoya, Osaka, and Fukuoka, with total attendance projected to reach approximately 520,000. Stray Kids will continue their Japanese activities with the release of their fourth Japanese mini-album ‘SUIATSU’ on November 25. The album will be their first Japanese mini-album in approximately a year and a half. Their latest Korean mini-album ‘THIS & THAT,’ released on August 7, also became their ninth consecutive album to debut at No. 1 on the Billboard 200—not an album that remained at No. 1 for nine consecutive weeks.
