NAYEON to Return With ‘NA-sty’ on November 20, Her First Solo Comeback in 2 Years and 5 Months
2026년 10월 27일
TWICE’s NAYEON will return with the new single album ‘NA-sty’ on November 20 at 2 p.m. KST, or midnight ET. It marks her first solo comeback in about two years and five months, following her second mini album, ‘NA,’ released in June 2024.
JYP Entertainment announced the comeback through a logo motion video posted to TWICE’s official social media channels on October 23. The video presents the release through a computer-desktop concept, with halo and wing icons appearing alongside its title. Selecting ‘NA-sty’ activates a screensaver featuring moving, color-changing icons.
According to JYP Entertainment, the title combines ideas of NAYEON’s style and being herself with the playful, mischievous sound of the English word ‘nasty.’ The wordplay builds on her name while introducing a release intended to express her personality openly and freely.
The agency’s introduction points to a range of qualities, from NAYEON’s familiar bright and lovable appeal to a bolder, more candid side. The announcement establishes that direction without yet revealing how it will translate into the full song and performance.
NAYEON debuted with TWICE in 2015 and began her solo career in June 2022 with her first mini album, ‘IM NAYEON,’ led by ‘POP!’ The album reached No. 7 on the Billboard 200. JYP’s official discography notes that the album and its lead track together entered 18 Billboard chart categories.
She followed with ‘NA’ and its lead single, ‘ABCD,’ in June 2024. The album also entered the Billboard 200 at No. 7, giving her two consecutive top-10 solo albums. Contemporary coverage reported that the release and its title track appeared across 13 Billboard chart categories.
The November schedule brings a seasonal change to her solo releases. Both previous mini albums arrived in June, pairing her solo activities with summer. ‘NA-sty’ will instead arrive in late autumn, opening a different setting for the next stage of her solo career.
With the logo motion video introducing the release, NAYEON is preparing to return after more than two years away from solo album promotions. ‘NA-sty’ is scheduled for release on November 20 at 2 p.m. KST, or midnight ET.
