KickFlip to Return in D-1 with Fourth Mini Album 'My First Kick'…Playful Confession Teased in '눈에 거슬리고 싶어'

JYP Entertainment's youngest group KickFlip announced their comeback with the new album 'My First Kick' on April 6, one day after the announcement. With their fourth mini album marking a full start to their 2026 activities, KickFlip emphasizes a cheerful charm through the title track '눈에 거슬리고 싶어', a bolder love confession than before.

The title track '눈에 거슬리고 싶어' is introduced as a hyper-punk–based dance song. Part of the released lyrics—"I want to bother your eyes more and more every time", "so you peek into your sight, wherever I am, pop pop pop and be seen", "I can't hold back my heart anymore, I want to bother your eyes"—preview the group's bubbly energy, often described as their signature '킥랄'. It is notable that leader 계훈 participated in the song's creation, putting his characteristically sly phrasing and reputation as a 'flirting master' into the track. 계훈 gained popularity for his witty talk on a fan-communication app and built buzz through appearances on various web variety shows. An earlier music-video teaser even shows 계훈 coaching flirting techniques.

Stage presence is also cited as one of KickFlip's strengths. The group held their first fan concert, '2026 KickFlip FAN-CON < From KickFlip, To WeFlip >', in four shows on January 17 and 18 at Blue Square SOL Travel Hall in Yongsan-gu, Seoul, and then met their fandom 위플립 in a total of 12 performances across five cities nationwide—Busan on January 24, Gwangju on January 31, Cheongju on February 21, and Daegu on February 28. By performing debut and title tracks from each album as well as B-sides and unit stages, they proved the rookie boldness and energy that earned them the label of a 'next-generation stage master.'

The fourth mini album promises a diverse palette of songs. The pre-release track 'Twenty' music video captures the moment of stepping from the end of adolescence into another world, and the trailer and concept photos showcase 'first' moments—first driving, first voting, first part-time job, first living alone. Members 계훈, 동화, 주왕, 민제, 케이주, and 동현 revealed scenes from the mini-album's song camp in an album preview video, demonstrating their musical capabilities. Maknae 동현 participated in the pre-release single 'Twenty' following his contributions to the mini 3 album track '악몽을 꿨던 건 비밀이지만' and the group's first music-show win on terrestrial TV with '처음 불러보는 노래'. Other tracks expand the album's spectrum, including 'Stup!d' (featuring 동화 and 동현 reflecting the members' images), the unpredictably structured '거꾸로', 'Scroll' composed in part by 민제, the ice-hockey–inspired 'Roar', and the travel-flavored 'My Direction'.

KickFlip's fourth mini album 'My First Kick' and its title track '눈에 거슬리고 싶어' will be released on various music platforms on April 6 at 6:00 p.m. KST. On the same day, an Mnet M2 comeback show will air at 7:00 p.m., followed by a comeback showcase scheduled for 8:00 p.m.
