FLARE U Releases 'YOUTH ERROR Japan Edition' With First Original Japanese Song
2026년 9월 9일
FLARE U have expanded their activities in Japan with the release of 'YOUTH ERROR Japan Edition.' The duo released the album on September 9th at midnight, presenting a new version of the first mini album with which they debuted in Korea in May. The Japan Edition contains 10 tracks. It retains the songs from the original Korean release while adding Japanese versions of the title track 'WAY 2 U' and B-sides 'Hyper' and 'Don’t Cry.' It also introduces 'DOOM BA DOOM DOOM BA,' FLARE U’s first original Japanese song. 'DOOM BA DOOM DOOM BA' is a dance-pop track driven by vocal synths, a lively bass line, and a repetitive hook. Its lyrics encourage listeners to set aside complicated thoughts for a moment and enjoy moving together with the music. The original 'YOUTH ERROR' explores the experiences of two young people learning through mistakes, setbacks, and uncertainty. Rather than treating those errors as failures, the album presents them as a natural part of growing up. The Korean edition surpassed 180,000 copies in first-week sales and appeared on several domestic album charts. The Japanese edition carries the same central narrative into a new market while giving local listeners newly recorded Japanese versions and an original song created specifically for the release. FLARE U will continue their Japanese activities at the 2026 FNC KINGDOM 'THE FLOATING BAZAAR.' The FNC Entertainment label concert will take place at Pia Arena MM in Yokohama on December 12th and 13th, where the duo will perform alongside other artists from the agency. With 'YOUTH ERROR Japan Edition,' FLARE U are building on their Korean debut while establishing a broader musical connection with audiences in Japan.
