B1A4 Announces Mini 9th SET to Celebrate 15th Debut Anniversary; May 2 Public Concert at Yebitseom

According to a source, B1A4 returned with new music on a day that marks their 15th debut anniversary. The group announced on April 21 the release of mini 9th SET, and released it officially at 6 p.m. on major music sites. Since debuting on April 21, 2011, releasing a new album on the same date has become a special pattern tied to their 15th anniversary. The 9th mini album SET centers on the title track '가위 바위 보'. It is a dance-pop track built on a punchy bass, bright synthesizers, and groovy drums, with an energetic hook, described as capturing moments when people connect naturally, under the message 'two is better than one, and three is better than two'. In addition to the title track, the album includes mid-tempo pop song 'CPR', 'Colors on me' with soft melodies and stylish synths, '5959' with an upbeat beat and bright synths expressing the flutter and free emotions of falling in love, and the emotional ballad '이 별' which conveys deep feelings of not letting go even during a breakup. Each track has its own color, highlighting a musical spectrum that blends with the 15-year rhythm of the group. B1A4 will continue promoting on music shows with this comeback, and on May 2 they will hold a public concert at the outdoor stage of Yebitseom in Banpo-dong, Seoul. It will be open to both fan-club members BANA and general audiences. In particular, the concert is expected to be free for citizens who come to the Han River, making the 15th-anniversary stage accessible to all. Reports say this plan stems from the will of members Shinwoo, Sandeul, and Gongchan to present 15 years of hits and new songs on one stage. With the SET release, B1A4 aims to strengthen communication with fans and present a show that encompasses both long-time fans and general audiences, condensing their 15-year journey into one stage. The comeback has generated high expectations among music fans and drawn attention to their future activities.
