Monsta X Shownu X Hyungwon Tease New Mini Album LOVE ME Ahead of Release; Do You Love Me Preview and L TAP Choreography Revealed

Monsta X's unit Shownu X Hyungwon are reconnecting with fans through a new release after 2 years and 10 months. According to their label, the mini album LOVE ME will drop on the 21st at 6:00 PM, and a preview that gives a glimpse of the overall mood of all tracks, including the title track Do You Love Me, was released first. The preview video went up on YouTube on the 19th, and, along with snippets of the new song, offers a sense of the album’s mood that has fans excited. In particular, Do You Love Me captures the back-and-forth of emotions when hearts aren’t certain, with a blend of rhythmic drums, brass, and guitar that harmonize. The preview also includes some non-title tracks and behind-the-scenes cuts from the concept photoshoot, offering a look at the album’s finished feel.

LOVE ME comprises seven tracks co-created by Shownu X Hyungwon, including the title Do You Love Me, as well as Superstitious, In My Head, Breathe, Acceler ator, and the solo songs Around & Go (Shownu) and NO AIR (Hyungwon). The two artists’ diverse musical colors come together, signaling a broader sonic spectrum fans have been hoping for. The concept also emphasizes expressing different emotions of love in various forms.

Shownu also drew directly into the choreography for this album. Having previously contributed to the performance of Love Me A Little on THE UNSEEN, Shownu is said to have helped with the overall choreography again this time. The distinctive choreography, called L TAP, involves forming an L shape with the left hand and moving to the beat, a move that seems to press for a response to the lyric 'do you love me or not?' The performance elements align with the album’s refined mood and are drawing fan attention.

Additionally, LOVE ME is the second official mini album from the Shownu X Hyungwon unit, notable as their first release in about 2 years and 10 months since their previous unit album. Musically, it emphasizes respecting each other’s colors and expressing love in various forms, with a well-crafted lineup that fills the long gap. The preview video and behind-the-scenes concept photos have already hinted at a wide range of魅力 before the release, and fans are eager to see the responses on release day. All tracks will be available on online music sites on the 21st at 6 PM.
