QWER Announces October 2 ‘Shonen Manga Infinite Train’ Special Live, Teases Secret Guest

Girl band QWER will meet fans through a special online live broadcast inspired by the message of “Shonen Manga.” Expanding the song’s story of pursuing dreams into an “Infinite Train” concept, the group plans to take fans on a shared journey.

According to their agency, 3Y Corporation, “QWER SPECIAL LIVE: Shonen Manga Infinite Train” will stream on QWER’s official YouTube channel at 9 p.m. KST on October 2. Featuring all four members—Chodan, Magenta, Hina and Siyeon—the broadcast was conceived around “Shonen Manga,” the title track of their special single released on September 21. It will give the members a chance to share the song’s dreams and determination with fans.

The “Infinite Train” concept is central to the broadcast. Sports Seoul and TV Daily described it as an extension of “Shonen Manga,” while The Fact reported that QWER plans to embark on a special journey with fans. The group will carry the song’s story into the live broadcast and connect with fans through their official YouTube channel.

The promotional poster also teased a “secret guest,” sparking interest in who will join the four members. The reports did not identify the guest or reveal details of their appearance. The “Shonen Manga Infinite Train” concept and the mystery guest are key attractions of the upcoming broadcast.

“Shonen Manga” was selected as the special single’s title track through a fan vote. It expresses a firm resolve to pursue dreams like the protagonist of a shonen manga, even when reality feels far from bright. By building the broadcast around a song fans chose themselves, QWER will bring its message and fan participation together once again.

Musically, the track pairs QWER’s signature upbeat band sound with lyrical words. Sports Seoul described it as offering comfort and hope to young people, while Electronic Times highlighted how its lyrics support the message of chasing dreams. That determination, carried by the bright, propulsive sound, underpins the “Infinite Train” concept. The online broadcast promises fans a fresh way to experience the song.

QWER will follow the special live broadcast with overseas performances. On October 10 and 11, the group will bring its second tour, “QWER 2nd TOUR 'ROCKATION : ROCKET LAUNCH!!',” to Taipei, Taiwan. After meeting fans online on October 2, they will continue connecting with audiences through two days of shows in Taipei, carrying forward the determination to pursue dreams expressed in “Shonen Manga.”
