TVXQ!’s MAX CHANGMIN has returned with his third Korean solo mini album, ‘All Of My Life,’ bringing together songs about embracing life and finding the strength to keep moving forward.
The album and the music video for its title track were released on October 19 at 6 p.m. KST. It is his first Korean solo mini album since ‘Devil’ in January 2022, a gap of about four years and nine months.
The six-track release includes ‘All Of My Life,’ ‘Hot Blood,’ ‘The Low,’ ‘Yeah We Go,’ ‘Sleeping By The Phone’ and ‘99 (Boiling Point).’ Ranging from powerful rock to delicate ballads, the album highlights different sides of his voice while exploring the emotions and experiences that shape everyday life.
The title track, ‘All Of My Life,’ is a pop-rock song built around expressive electric guitar and powerful drums. His nuanced vocals and soaring high notes support lyrics about accepting life’s uncertainties and continuing along your own path.
In comments shared through his agency, MAX CHANGMIN said the song’s refreshing energy and warm, moving qualities made him want to choose it as the title track. Unlike his previous solo title tracks, he explained, this song is expressed entirely through singing rather than choreography, placing the emphasis on his voice.
He also took a more active role in the album’s production. While he had mainly offered suggestions in the past, this time he became directly involved in shaping the sound and the music video’s direction. The video combines scenes of people going about their daily lives with MAX CHANGMIN appearing in different roles, including a knight and a rocker.
MAX CHANGMIN wrote the lyrics for ‘Yeah We Go’ on his own. He drew inspiration from watching athletes in sports he enjoys give their all until the final moment. The song encourages listeners to endure difficult moments and keep working toward what they hope to achieve, even when they feel ready to give up.
He said he continues vocal training after more than 20 years of singing because he still sees room to grow. Learning and embracing new things, he explained, are part of his effort to keep performing for years to come. For this album, he focused on communicating each song clearly to listeners as well as delivering powerful vocals.
He described consistency as his driving force: the desire to do a little more and move a little further than the day before. He also thanked fans who had waited for a new solo album and encouraged them to spend time with the songs he had prepared with care.
The album will be followed by live performances. MAX CHANGMIN will hold ‘MAX CHANGMIN LIVE SESSION : RESONANCE in SEOUL’ at YES24 LIVE HALL from November 6 to 8, before continuing with overseas dates.
