Kim Jaejoong-Produced Group VAYONN Spreads Youthful Energy with Debut EP 'Youth Today'

Male group VAYONN, planned by producer Kim Jaejoong, has officially debuted with their debut EP 'Youth Today'. VAYONN is a six-member boy group consisting of Masato, Sen, Sunjiayang, Fengzhenwei, Teru, and Mano. The group is primarily composed of members who gained recognition through Mnet's 'Boyz2 Planet'. Kim Jaejoong, a singer and actor, participated in the production, drawing significant attention even before their debut. At a showcase held at NOL Theater in Hapjeong, Mapo-gu, Seoul, they performed their debut title track 'MUAH!' and the album track 'Watta Day'.

During the showcase, members shared their excitement about debuting and revealed advice from producer Kim Jaejoong. Mano expressed his respect, stating, 'PD Kim Jaejoong was once an idol and is still active today, so he always teaches us about etiquette. He mentioned that these lessons can be a catalyst for our growth, so I am keeping them in mind.' Sen described the album as asking, 'How is today's youth?' just as one might ask, 'How is the weather today?', emphasizing how the album uses weather to metaphorically express various aspects of youth.

The title track 'MUAH!' is a high-teen dance pop song featuring refreshing synth sounds and upbeat drums, capturing both a signal of love and the fluttering feelings of youth. Masato vowed, 'I will perform with emotion so it feels cool and is etched into your memories.' The members also shared their ambition to become a group that immediately brings 'youth' to mind when people think of VAYONN. Meanwhile, VAYONN's first EP 'Youth Today' was released on the 6th at 6 PM via various music streaming sites.
