ALPHA DRIVE ONE Expands Promotions Across Korean TV and U.S. Media

ALPHA DRIVE ONE, also known as ALD1, is expanding their promotional activities across music programs, variety shows, radio, and international media following the release of their second mini album, ‘UNBREAKABLE : BOY BEAST.’ Leader Rio is set to take on a new role on August 31 when he appears as a guest weathercaster on JTBC’s morning news program ‘Morning &.’ He will deliver the day’s weather forecast during the broadcast. The appearance connects with a memorable scene from ALPHA DRIVE ONE’s earlier work. Rio previously portrayed a weathercaster in the music video for ‘OMG!,’ the title track from the group’s prologue single, ‘No School Tomorrow.’ His move from a fictional weather segment to an actual news broadcast offers a playful continuation of that concept. The group has also appeared on a wide range of Korean entertainment programs since their comeback. Their schedule has included KBS2’s ‘Gag Concert,’ tvN’s ‘Amazing Saturday,’ ‘The Truman Show,’ ‘Idol Human Theater,’ Jo Hyun-ah’s web variety program, and SBS Power FM’s ‘Park So-hyun’s Love Game.’ These appearances have given the members more opportunities to introduce their individual personalities and team chemistry outside of music-show performances. Member Junseo also took on a reporter role for MBC’s morning program ‘Live Today Morning,’ where he presented a different side of himself through an on-location broadcast assignment. ALPHA DRIVE ONE’s activities have extended beyond Korea as well. The group has appeared on the Los Angeles morning program ‘Good Day LA’ and participated in Apple Music radio programming, building greater visibility among international audiences. Their second mini album is also scheduled for a U.S. release in October, marking the group’s first album release in the American market and adding another step to their overseas expansion.
