I.O.I Reunites in Full for the First Time in Nine Years; Debut 10th Anniversary Mini Album 'I.O.I : LOOP' to Be Released and Concert Held

Group I.O.I will return in full for the first time in about nine years to celebrate its 10th debut anniversary. The nine members—Im Na-yeong, Chungha, Kim Sejeong, Jeong Chaeyeon, Kim So-hye, Yoo Yeon-jeong, Choi Yoo-jung, Kim Do-yeon, and Jeon Somi—will release their third mini-album I.O.I : LOOP at 6:00 PM on the 19th through various online music platforms, kicking off their full-scale activities.

The album looks back on the past decade and honestly captures the feelings of a reunion in the present. Each member has strengthened her musical prowess and tightened the group’s teamwork, delivering a diverse sound. The title track 갑자기 is a synth-pop piece delicately portraying the sudden arrival of longing and memories; Jeon Somi contributed to the lyrics, weaving the sincerity of the time spent together and the tender rekindling of the relationship. The dreamy outro in the latter part of the song is expected to leave a lasting impression on listeners.

The album contains six tracks with prominent member involvement. The first track IOI (Where My Girls At) features Jeon Somi writing and composing, bringing the group’s signature bright and lively energy over a house beat. The Afrobeats-genre SPF 100+ (Summer Pop Fantasy) humorously expresses the excitement of reunion by likening it to sunscreen. Yoo Yeon-jeong contributed to the lyrics and composition of the rock-based track IF I, singing about a decade-long solid relationship as if in a movie; Chungha wrote and composed the ballad 그때 우리 지금, warmly embracing the reunion moment as a comforting follow-up to their previous song Sonagi.

Additionally, the archival track 웃으며 안녕 (Recorded in 2016), produced by JinYoung and pre-released on the 4th, is included, adding a touch of the group’s younger voices and greetings. Fans have high expectations for the nine members’ explosive synergy and musical maturity.

After the album release, I.O.I will hold a three-day solo concert, '2026 I.O.I Concert Tour: LOOP,' at Jamsil Indoor Stadium in Seoul from the 29th to the 31st, opening the Asia tour.
