fromis_9 to Make July Comeback With First Full-Length Album in Three Years

Fromis_9 is returning this July with their second full-length album, their first studio release in about three years. The agency Ascend announced the comeback on the 12th, saying they are pouring effort into delivering a high-quality new release after a long hiatus. Fromis_9 will release their first full-length album since Unlock My World in 2023. This release is meaningful as it is the first full project since the lineup was reorganized to five members. Since moving to Ascend last year, they released the mini album From Our 20’s and the digital single White Longing, continuing active activities, making fans eager to see how the new release will carry the group’s energy and color.

Last year's mini album’s title track Like You Better ranked in the Melon Top 100 for three weeks, leaving an impressive mark. They also won first place on KBS2’s Music Bank, and the digital single White Longing reached No. 5 on Melon Top 100, their personal best. They also claimed first place trophies on Music Bank, Show! Music Core, and Inkigayo, solidifying their status as a popular girl group.

Ascend said, 'As we return with a full-length album after a long interval, we will convey deeper emotional lines and a mature sound to meet fans’ expectations. Please look forward to a new release that showcases fromis_9’s energy and color in a diverse way.' Attention is on how their refined musical color after three years will unfold.

Additionally, the five-member lineup makes this second album their first official regular project, a meaning fans take to heart. Specifics about upcoming title tracks, tracks, and concepts have not yet been released, but the release is anticipated to cover a wide spectrum as the group aims for a summer queen position. Fromis_9’s second full-length album is planned for a July release, and fans are already buzzing with anticipation.
